Terms

Last updated 12 October 2026

These terms apply to the KBK app, the KBK Partner portal and this website. They apply to supporters, to sponsors and the people who work for them, and to KBK staff who administer the services. By creating an account or using the services you accept them.

Who provides the services

The services are provided by Kristiansund Ballklubb (org. no. 986 211 497), Magnar Isaksens Vei 1, 6514 Kristiansund N, Norway, phone +47 900 12 453, "KBK" or "we". Questions about the terms go to kbk@kristiansundbk.no.

Samsari AS (org. no. 936 276 474), Hagbart Brinchmanns vei 20, 6510 Kristiansund N, Norway, develops and runs the services for KBK, and can be reached at hei@samsari.no.

Who the terms apply to

  • Everyone who uses the app, the portal or the website: the sections on account, use, content, liability and changes.
  • Supporters: also the sections on the app, Ugle Arenaen, benefits and giveaways.
  • Sponsors: also the section on the partner portal. If the sponsorship agreement between KBK and the company says something different from these terms, the agreement applies.
  • KBK administrators: also the section on administrators, and KBK's internal routines.

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy.

Account and age limit

  • You must be 13 or older to create an account. This applies to both the KBK app and the partner portal.
  • You have one account, registered to your own email address. The same account is used in the app and in the partner portal.
  • You are responsible for what happens on your account. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us at kbk@kristiansundbk.no if you think someone else has got access.
  • Give us correct details and keep them up to date.
  • You can delete the account at any time, see Delete account. Deletion covers both the app and the portal.

Using the services

  • You may not misuse the services, try to bypass their security, try to get access to other people's accounts or data, or use automated tools against them.
  • You may not upload or share content that is illegal or offensive, or that you do not have the right to share.
  • You may not use the services to send advertising or unwanted messages to others.

The KBK app for supporters

  • The app is for personal use by KBK supporters.
  • You can vote for the player of the match once per match. Predictions for the line-up, first scorer and result close at kick-off.
  • If you give a ticket away, the recipient gets your name and email address. The rules for transfers are in the app, and the ticket still follows the terms of TicketCo.
  • Your first name, the initial of your last name and your points are shown on the leaderboard in the app.

Ugle Arenaen and points

  • Points have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred or sold.
  • KBK decides how points are earned and redeemed, and may change the rules, the benefits and the levels. Significant changes are announced in the app.
  • Points earned through errors or misuse can be withdrawn, and the account can be closed.
  • Points are deleted when the account is deleted.

Benefits from sponsors

  • The benefits in the app are given by KBK's sponsors. Each benefit has its own terms, shown on the benefit, such as how long it is valid and how to use it.
  • The sponsor is responsible for giving you the benefit and for the product or service. Complaints go to the sponsor.
  • When you activate a benefit, the sponsor gets your name. If the sponsor needs to contact you, they also get your email address and phone number. The benefit says so before you activate it.
  • Benefits and codes are personal and may not be sold or shared. Points spent on a benefit are not refunded, unless the sponsor cannot give you the benefit.

Giveaways and competitions

  • Entering is free, and you do not need to buy anything.
  • Each giveaway has its own rules in the app: who is behind it, what the prize is, who can enter, when it ends and how the winner is chosen. Unless stated otherwise, the winner is drawn at random among everyone who entered.
  • You can only enter once per giveaway. Cheating, multiple accounts or automated tools can get you excluded from the giveaway and lose you the prize.
  • The winner is told in the app or by email. If you do not reply within 14 days, we may draw a new winner.
  • Your name and the contact details needed to give you the prize are shared with the sponsor behind it. We may show your first name and the initial of your last name in the app.
  • The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or passed on to someone else. The sponsor is responsible for the prize.
  • Staff at KBK and at the sponsor behind the giveaway cannot win, unless the rules say otherwise.
  • Apple and Google are not sponsors of, and are not responsible for, giveaways in the app.

The partner portal for sponsors

  • Access to the portal is given by KBK, with a personal invitation. Each person must have their own account, and access may not be shared.
  • The sponsor is responsible for making sure that those with access work for the sponsor, and must tell KBK when someone leaves or should no longer have access.
  • You must have the right to use the content you add, such as logos, benefits, texts and files. You give KBK the right to use the content in the app and the portal to show the partnership, for as long as the agreement lasts.
  • Benefits you create are only published once KBK has approved them. You are responsible for giving the benefits as described.
  • Data about supporters that you get through the portal, such as names and contact details when someone activates a benefit or wins a giveaway, may only be used to give them the benefit or prize. It may not be used for marketing without the consent of the person concerned, and must be deleted when you no longer need it. Once you have received the data, you are the controller for it yourselves.
  • When you sign people up for activities or hand out season cards, you enter their names and email addresses. You must be allowed to share the data with us, and let them know they will get an email from KBK.
  • Information in the portal that is not public, such as plans, agreements and files, is confidential and may not be shared outside the company.
  • When the partnership ends, KBK can close access to the portal.

KBK administrators

  • Access is given by KBK and follows your role, in the app and in the portal. It may only be used in your work for KBK.
  • Only look at data about supporters, sponsors and colleagues when you need it for your work, for example to give support or follow up a sponsor.
  • Data you get through the services is confidential, also after you leave. Lists and files you download must be stored safely and deleted when they are no longer needed.
  • What you do in the portal is logged with your name.
  • Suspending and deleting accounts must have a proper reason.
  • Access is removed when you leave or no longer need it.

Ugla, the AI assistant

  • Ugla answers with the help of language models and can be wrong. Check the answers before you use them for anything important.
  • What you write, send or say to Ugla, and data Ugla looks up to answer, is sent to OpenAI. Do not send sensitive personal data, such as health information, or more about other people than you need to.
  • We may limit how much Ugla can be used.

Content and rights

  • The content in the services, such as the crest, photos, texts and song lyrics, belongs to KBK or the rights holders and may not be copied for commercial use.
  • You still own content you add yourself, such as your profile picture, suggestions, comments and files. You give KBK the right to store and show it in the services for as long as needed. We may remove content that breaks the terms.

Tickets and purchases

Tickets and season cards are sold by TicketCo, and the purchase follows their terms. The app shows your tickets but is not the seller. Complaints and refunds go to TicketCo. Purchases of goods and benefits from sponsors follow the terms of the sponsor or the shop.

Availability and liability

We do our best to keep the services working, but cannot guarantee that they are always available or free of errors. Match data, scores and events come from external sources and may be delayed or wrong.

We are not liable for loss caused by the services being unavailable or showing incorrect information, or for benefits and prizes given by sponsors, beyond what mandatory law requires.

Suspending accounts

We can suspend an account temporarily or permanently if it is used against these terms, to stop misuse or to protect other users. The app shows that the account is suspended and for how long. You can ask for the reason at kbk@kristiansundbk.no.

Changes

We may change the terms and the services. Significant changes are announced in the app and the portal before they take effect. If you keep using the services after that, you accept the new terms.

We may shut down services or features. When possible, we give notice in good time.

Governing law and contact

The terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes are resolved by the ordinary Norwegian courts, unless mandatory law says otherwise.

Questions about the terms go to kbk@kristiansundbk.no.
